Senior Business Analyst

• Execute consulting activities to achieve client value objectives in close alignment with methodology including:
• Conducting workshops
• Developing strategy and value propositions
• Creation of “As-Is” and ‘To-Be’ State documents and process flows
• Creation of Conceptual Designs
• Creation of Functional Requirements documents
• Creation of testing plans
• Contribute to implementation/release plans and documentation
• Support the project teams in the execution of initiatives by providing support in research, engineering and design activities
• Develop and deliver communications for both client and internal management teams

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in consulting services (Formal consulting training preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IT and Electric Utility Distribution business processes
• Project experience dealing with Smart Grid technology classes: Demand Response, Decentralized Generation, Energy Storage, Distribution Automation Field Equipment & sensors, etc.
• Experience with the integration of renewable and Energy Automation products and system solutions, substation automation, small control centers, RTU communication, IT processes, protection power quality, metering and utility management
• Proven skills in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering through a complete lifecycle (modeling to analysis to implementation of process change)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Additional spoken languages (French, German, Spanish) is an asset
• Strong business/client engagement and delivery skills
• Experience developing business requirements
• Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
• Available for domestic and international travel
